Olivia Springer, MFA '22 (creative writing and publishing) is a graduate assistant in The University of Baltimore's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and this year she earned a "Founder's Scholarship" from the entrepreneurship honor society, Sigma Nu Tau.
The honor society awarded eight, $1,000 scholarships to those student members who applied by the deadline and demonstrated active participation and promotion of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and who had volunteerism in campus organizations and in the general community.
Springer is continuing her education at UBalt by pursuing a MFA in Integrated Design. She is also a 2010 graduate from The Art Institute of York, Pennsylvania with a degree in marketing and she earned a second degree in retail management in 2012 fro the same institution.
In the future, she plans to run and grow her own bookstore and publishing program.
