Join us as we celebrate the University of Baltimore's Centennial—a instituion founded by entreprenuers.

The annual "Rise to the Challenge Pitch Competition" offers up to $30,000 in cash and professional services up for grabs. The competition promises to be UBalt’s most exciting competition of the year. This could be just the vehicle to breathe life into your unique idea or give your existing business a boost.

What to Expect

Pitch Your Business: Present your innovative ideas to a panel of judges.
One-on-One Coaching: Receive personalized guidance to refine your pitch and strategy.
Accelerate Your Business: Compete for funding and move your ideas forward.
Grand Prize: Win up to $30,000 to kickstart your venture.

Submissions Open: January 27, 2025
Application Deadline: February 28, 2025
Finalists Announced: March 10, 2025
Live, In-Person, Final: May 1, 2025, Time: 5:30 - 8 p.m.

The steps below will be found on "Trusted Peer" the onlne platform to submit your applicaton. There are three steps to consider when applying:

STEP 1: Create an Investment Summary for your business.
STEP 2: Create a 1-min. video pitch that identifies the target customer, market opportunities and competition for your business, among other things.
STEP 3: Upload your 1-min video pitch URL link and Investment Summary by February 28, 2025, no later than 11:59 p.m.
