Meet with students and alumni seeking career and internship opportunities. University of Baltimore's Career and Internship Center follows an industry model,
where students and alumni meet with career specialists specific to their school of
study. This method has proven to be successful in getting students prepared for what
employers are seeking within a variety of industries. Thus, we have created our career
fair line up to mirror our coaching model. You have the ability to select the fair(s)
you would like to participate in, based off of your organization's overall industry
and/or the way in which your recruitment needs match to the industry and/or the way
in which your recruitment needs match to the industry of a specific career fair.
Speak directly to students while presenting a career development topic. Present to students about open opportunities in one of our classrooms or meeting rooms.
Information sessions typically begin with a presentation or panel discussion that
introduces your organization and its employment needs, followed by a Q&A and/or networking
session. Information sessions are a great lead-in for our career fairs or on-campus
interviewing.
Introduce your company to students. Host an informal information table on campus to promote your company and your employment/internship
opportunities. Tables are staffed by representatives of your organization and are
free of charge.
Connect with students while presenting a career development topic. Interact with students directly in the classroom, while providing valuable insight
and advice. Students will gain an understanding of your organizational values, cultures,
and dedication to their professional development. If you are interested in speaking
in the classroom or meeting with a student organization, our office will work with
you to solidify a date. Schedule your workshop here.
This program comes from the U.S. Department of Education, administered at the University
of Baltimore's Career and Internship Center. The purpose is to locate and develop
off-campus job opportunities for students, at local nonprofit organizations. Through
