2019

Professor of Accounting Jan Williams has been serving on the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy since 2019 and became chair of the the board in 2023. She also volunteers with the national professional organization of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) on the Academic Executive Committee.

2021

Dr. Kalyan Singhal, in collaboration with about three-hundred professors and executives founded the "Production and Operation Management Society (POMS). He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Production and Operation Management Journal." Singhal used his experience with POMS to launch a second journal called "Management and Business Review" in 2021.

Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, Sanwar Sunny made Forbes Magazine "30 Under 30" list in 2019. He has founded several companies focused on climate change solutions.
