Vice President for Student Success & Chief Student Affairs Officer
What do you do at UBalt?
I am honored to serve as the Vice President for Student Success & Chief Student Affairs Officer at The University of Baltimore. I oversee the student support, student engagement, career services, and student success data analytics functions of the University. I also oversee the development and implementation of academic advising initiatives at UBalt. I am an advocate for our students and their journey towards degree completion. I am deeply involved in initiatives related to student retention, satisfaction, and the co-curricular aspect of their educational experience.
I have worked in higher education for nearly 20 years and have been at UBalt for five of those years. At UBalt, I have served as the Assistant Dean in the College of Arts & Sciences, Assistant Provost for Student Assessment, Advising, and Retention, and Interim Dean of Students prior to my current role. All of these experiences have afforded me the opportunity to work with students in various ways and always with the focus of student retention.
What do you love best about UBalt?
I love our students at UBalt! I truly enjoy working with our students to make sure their student experience at UBalt is positive and engaging. I love working with our wonderful team in the Division of Student Success & Support Services to help our students achieve their personal, professional, and academic goals. I am proud that we offer top-notch services to our students including access to our Campus Pantry; Career Closet; and Student Assistance Program.
Dean of Students
What do you do at UBalt?
I oversee the Office of Student Support which includes Student Conduct, the Student Assistance Program (SAP), Disability and Access Services (DAS), and Mentoring. Through our efforts, we help students to successfully navigate their UBalt experience.
What do you love best about UBalt?
I love the diversity, determination, and drive of the UBalt student body.

Executive Director of Student Development
What do you do at UBalt?
I oversee the Rosenberg Center for Student Engagement and Inclusion, Diversity and International Services, and The Bob Parsons Veterans Center. With more than 18 years of experience in higher education, I provide a hands-on,
experiential learning approach to student involvement programs and student leadership
opportunities.
What do you love best about UBalt?
As an educator I enjoy being part of students' UBalt experience, assisting them in
their endeavors, and witnessing their successes. I'm an avid Baltimore Orioles fan
and can often be found at Camden Yards taking in a game with my family. I believe
strongly in the Plato quote, "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play
than in a year of conversation."

Budget Manager
What do you do at UBalt?
Working closely with all departments in the division, I help assess needs and provide
analysis to ensure budgetary, technology, and human resources are assigned and utilized
strategically to support our students. I also assist with the student organization
funding system by advising the two funding boards and managing the student governance
fees.
What do you love best about UBalt?
I love working with our driven, dedicated students and working closely with colleagues
that are passionate about creating an environment where students can succeed.

What do you do at UBalt?
I work with the Office of the Vice President for Student Success by providing administrative,
financial, programmatic, communication and marketing, and project managment support
involving a wide range of divisional projects. I am also a graduate student in the
College of Public Affairs, Global Affairs and Human Security program.

As both a staff and student I feel supported and represented at UBalt.

Director of Student Success & Retention
What do you do at UBalt?
My primary role at UBalt is to oversee all placement activities for the university, which includes working with our First-Year population. I manage the First-Year Experience program while working on retention initiatives for all University of Baltimore students.
What do you love best about UBalt?
I love the energy that UBalt students bring into and outside of the classroom. Our students are a true representation of Baltimore, and I enjoy providing guidance and learning from them.
