The University of Baltimore is currently using DocuSign as an enterprise-class electronic
signature tool for various process and signature workflows.
Please review the information below to get started with DocuSign.
DocuSign Access
Anyone with an active @ubalt.edu email address has basic access to log in, sign, and
download completed documents. See next two questions for advanced access to DocuSign.
Go to https://www.docusign.com/ and click ‘Log In’ at the top right corner of the page, or, this linkwill take you to our Single Sign-On login. The first time you logon to DocuSign, you
you will be asked to create a signature before you can access any documents/envelopes
you need to sign. This will give you basic DocuSign access only.
Use your @ubalt.edu email address and the same password you use to access MyUBalt
or your email. You will then be prompted by DUO multi-factor authentication to approve the access.
You need to be assigned the sender role. The Sender role may be requested for employment contracts (Adjunct, C1/C2, Grad/Student
Assistant, Work-study) and P-Card logs by contacting the UBalt Call Center or creating a Service Request.
If you are interested in using DocuSign for a different business need or use case,
create a Service Request and OTS will work with you to evaluate your request.

If you are viewing the document in DocuSign, click the Download icon at the top of the page and select ‘Separate PDFs’ or ‘Combined PDF’, depending on which format you prefer. Separate PDFs creates a .ZIP file containing
all of the files in the DocuSign document as individual PDFs. Combined PDF creates
one PDF file. The selected file saves to your local Downloads folder.
Documents can be transferred from one account user to another with department approval.
Contact the Call Center for assistance.
Envelopes in the deleted folder are purged at midnight and cannot be recovered. Contact
the sender of the document or another document signer to forward a copy to your DocuSign
account. DocuSign support details how to forward a completed envelope.
