Library Access

 

- The Law Library is open to current UBalt student/faculty/staff BeeCard holders during all hours the building is open.

 

- Other visitors, including alumni, who have a legitimate legal research need may use the library Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

- Visitors, including alumni, must email library at lawlibref@ubalt.edu to register for access. You must include your name, date of proposed visit, and purpose for visit.

- Once visitors receive email confirmation from library staff they can check in at the security desk, sign in, and wear a visitor badge. The badge must be worn at all times within the building.

 

Regular Semester Circulation Desk Schedule Starting Sunday, August 12, 2022*:

UB law students, faculty, and staff will be able to access the library during all hours the building is open through BeeCard access  as described on the Campus Building Hours page.  The library's 7th floor Reference/Reserve room will be locked when the circulation staff leaves.

Public Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Patrons must demonstrate need to use library resources and be approved prior to arrival.
Bee Card Hours: 7 a.m. - midnight

Saturday and Sunday
Bee Card Hours: 7 a.m. - midnight

 

To access the library at other times, current UBalt students, staff, and faculty must use their Bee Card or obtain permission to enter the building from the UBalt Police Department as described on the Campus Building Hours page. No guests or members of the public are allowed into the library when the building is not open to the public.

Inclement weather closings will be announced on our main page.

PC LAB HOURS & ACCESS

The use of the computers in AL 910 and 911 is limited to currently enrolled UBalt students, staff, and faculty. The labs are open until 12:00 a.m., except during University holidays and emergency building closures.   Consult Computer Labs – University of Baltimore for additional information about lab hours and policies.
