Aiden earned his MLS in Archives and Records Management from the University of Maryland and his MA in Historical Studies from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. His experience includes positions at the National Park Service, the University of Maryland Libraries, and the Baltimore City Archives. Aiden's most recent writing appears in Trans and Gender Diverse Voices in Libraries from Litwin Books. Within the department, he serves as the archivist for public services and manages the Baltimore Studies Archives.

 

staff photoFatemeh Rezaei, Archivist

Fatemeh earned her Bachelor and Master of Library Science from Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran, Iran. Her library experience includes positions at the Norfolk Public Library and the National Library and Archives of Iran, as well as work in the private sector as a document manager. Fatemeh's research focuses on knowledge management, digital curation, and digital preservation. Within the department, she serves as the archivist for audio-visual collections, leads digital preservation initiatives, and manages the University Archives.

Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Simulation and Game Design from the University of Baltimore and his Associate of Arts in English from Harford Community College. His professional experience includes positions as an archives assistant, freelance editor, and chef. Within the department, he oversees the storage, retrieval, and inventory of collections in the Baltimore Studies Archives, the University Archives, and the Pullen special collections library.

 

staff photoLexzander Ernst, Centennial Exhibit Fellow

Lexzander is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Art in History at the University of Baltimore and serves as the President of the University’s history club. His experience includes positions as a student assistant in Special Collections and Archives and a library assistant at the Enoch Pratt Free Library. Within the department, he is researching and designing a gallery exhibit on University history, which will be showcased during the University’s 100th anniversary celebration in 2025.
