Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program: 

This program allows people who work full-time in public service (nonprofit or any government position) to have their loan balance forgiven after making 10 years of qualifying payments. Find up-to-date information about the program here: 

Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program 

Maryland residents who provide public service in Maryland state or local government, or nonprofit agencies in Maryland, to low-income or underserved residents are eligible to apply. 

District of Columbia Bar Foundation Poverty Lawyer LRAP 

Lawyers who work in Washington, D.C., in the area of poverty law are eligible to apply. 

The John R. Justice Student Loan Repayment Program (JRJ)  

The John R. Justice Student Loan Repayment Program (JRJ) provides loan repayment assistance for state and federal public defenders and state prosecutors who agree to remain employed as public defenders and prosecutors for at least three years.
