At The University of Baltimore, we accept applications up until the start of each semester. However, we encourage early application—applying sooner gives you a better chance of securing the classes you want and a smoother admissions process.

UBalt is test-optional for first-time undergraduate applicants. For more details, plan to attend an information session or connect with an admission counselor.

Transcripts
To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UBalt from Parchment or another authorized source. Transcripts sent by students themselves are not considered official and cannot be used for admission review. Please have all transcripts sent to documents@ubalt.edu.
Essay/Personal Statement
Applicants must submit a 250-500 word essay on one of the following topics:
