Board Hearings adjudicate concerns that are referred by a Hearing Officer or Senior Hearing Officer and based on their determination that the matter is a significant concern or repeat offense. Board Hearing Panelists are dedicated students, staff and faculty that play a critical role in supporting The University of Baltimore’s mission and ensure a process that values health, safety, equity and fairness.
Each board consists of five (5) Board Hearing Panelists and a Senior Hearing Officer. The composition of this group includes two (2) staff or faculty members and three (3) students.
Board Hearing Panelists receive training to serve as adjudicators for Board Hearings. Individuals chosen to serve in this capacity represent a diverse group of individuals from across the institution. Board Hearing Panelists receive contact on an as needed basis to hear cases.
